
María Calderón
María Calderón is an Associate at Verado Consulting and a member of the Mexico Dialogue at the Inter-American Dialogue. She previously served as Program Associate at the Wilson Center’s Mexico Institute, where her work focused on U.S.-Mexico relations, international law, and cross-border policy.
María was a Graduate Fellow for the Mexico practice at McLarty Associates and a Research Assistant at Georgetown Law’s Center for the Advancement of the Rule of Law in the Americas (CAROLA), specializing in Mexico’s Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) framework. She also served as Legal Associate and Project Manager at a boutique law firm in Mexico City, where she led public policy initiatives in environmental, energy, and food labeling regulation. In addition to her legal practice, María has served as Assistant Professor of Philosophy of Law and Law & Art at Universidad Panamericana.
